Tastings

The Club typically holds three tastings each year, in the summer, early autumn and at Christmas.

We normally present up to a dozen wines of a particular style or from a region. Members have the opportunity to express their views on the wines shown.

Tastings are informal walk round events which give members an opportunity to meet and get to know each other and members of the Committee.

The Christmas tasting is particularly popular because in addition to tasting some of the Clubs reserves a raffle is held to distribute some of the “Bin End” wines where the quantities remaining are too low to service a dinner or tasting.
